ABOUT US

We are a community-based non-profit organisation. We provide home-based care services for sick people and support for their vulnerable family members. We care for vulnerable children by assisting them with applications for identity documentation and offering them homework support. Our social workers and volunteer counsellors provide psycho-social support services. We teach children and youth about health and hygiene, and other life skills. We have a food garden and distribute food parcels to needy children on a monthly basis. We also help other organisations with fundraising. We make referrals and assist people living with HIV with treatmentadherence support. Services provided include: HIV and AIDS, Life Skills Training, Nutritional Support, Organisational Support, Palliative Care, Psycho-Social Support.

Our Mission: Aids Care Commission is dedicated to providing home-based care, support, and empowerment to individuals and families affected by HIV and AIDS. We strive to offer comprehensive services, including health education, nutritional support, psycho-social assistance, and organizational support. Our mission is to improve the well-being and quality of life for our community members, fostering resilience, compassion, and a society free from the stigma of HIV and AIDS.

Our Vision: At Aids Care Commission, our vision is to create a community where every person affected by HIV and AIDS receives comprehensive care and support. We envision a society that empowers vulnerable children, promotes health and hygiene education, ensures access to nutritious food, provides psycho-social support, and advocates for treatment adherence. Through our efforts, we strive for a future where the impact of HIV and AIDS is minimized, and individuals and families can live with dignity, resilience, and improved quality of life.
